Curacao Shiphandling & Services Inc. was established in May, 1989, as a subsidiary of the Curacao Drydock Company Holding Company. The company was originally founded as a shipping agency that served all sorts of vessels calling at the port of Curaçao and has provided  continued high quality services at reasonable prices. Ship Chandlery services were quickly added to serve the vessels in port even better, thus offering a “one-stop-shop”. The car rental service was added later and was a logical evolution of our services.

The company was fully privatized in 2022 and has undergone significant upgrading and investments since. The company’s Quality Management System was audited and certified by LRQA in November, 2023, according to ISO 9001 Quality standards.
